  • @grassfarmer42 What false statements? Look up lend lease yourself.

  • @1Dougy85 Do you have any facts to back up these false statements? You are totally wrong with these numbers. Look up Lend lease for starters.

  • fuck i love this song from medal of honor psx xD

  • @1Dougy85 That is a good point.

  • @spongebo13 I don't include all French people in my statement cause of course not all feel that way. The French government. Guess the same can be said of the US. Does the US as a whole feel an alliance to Britain? Some do some don't, or Obama government. That's the bad part, when our governments do something we're all thrown in together as if we're all behind them.

  • There is tough, and then there is "I fought in WW2" tough.

  • @1Dougy85 I'm not blaming the French people -well not ALL of them. In Paris I have met very small-minded people who hate the British and love the Americans for freeing them. However it's very obvious not the whole of France feels this. I would love to see President Sarkozy living in Nazi occupied France if thats how he feels. Well done to Obama though for saying if the Queen wasnt invited, he wouldnt go. That took some courage and really shows the alliance between Britain and the US.

  • @moonshot926 The US had 15% of the ships on D Day. The US did not make up 70% of the forces to may 45. Most of the munitions, aircraft and supplies the British and Canadians used D Day to VE day came form the UK. Most of the tanks the British used came from the UK. The US did not take the hardest beaches but had the most casualties on Omaha and it was the British and Canadians that made the breakout possible. On july 25 1944 645 tanks faced the British & Canadians & 190 faced the Americans

  • @spongebo13 That's not true There are many French graves in Britain. Dig deep you'll find them.

That is about the worst thing the French could have done, other than trying to invade England, not inviting the Queen to the D Day anniversary. D Day wouldn't have happened without the British and it was the British and Canadians who did most of the fighting during the Normandy campaign. Why the stub?

  • respect from soviet union! we cant forget this!
