The B.E.A.S.T. - Part 3 - RECON - Military Videos - The Pentagon Channel

Could you survive the B.E.A.S.T. ? "Basic Expeditionary Airman Skills Training" prepares Air Force basic trainees for a combat deployment by simulating a week of the real deal.

Recon, an original Pentagon Channel series, is a monthly half-hour informational television program providing an in-depth look on a variety of topics from real world operations, missions, military events / history and other subjects highlighting the accomplishments of U.S. military men and women.

The Pentagon Channel broadcasts military news and information for the 2.6 million members of the U.S. Armed Forces through programming including:

• Department of Defense news briefings
• Military news
• Interviews with top Defense officials
• Short stories about the work of our military

In addition to enhancing Department of Defense communications with the 1.4 million active duty service members, the Pentagon Channel will provide the 1.2 million members of the National Guard and Reserve and the 650,000 civilian employees of the Department of Defense more timely access to military information and news.

The Pentagon Channel television service is distributed 24/7 and is available to all stateside cable and satellite providers, via American Forces Radio and Television Services, overseas and via the worldwide web.

  • man wearing full MOPP in the Texas summer it nearly made me sick. I watched a girl pass out on the first day in BEAST from the sun or heavy gear.

  • I remember that MSgt. He's the same guy that evaluated my zone, Zone Vigilant, we ended up getting beast excellence. Huah wolfpack!

  • I remember I was apart of the 2nd group who got a perfect score at beast!

  • i meant "our" as in AF. I was there. Not a day of combat training in 8 weeks, but an entire week of learning how to put on a gas mask and snow suit in 115 degree weather. Gay.

  • @mkirschke99 This is a U.S. Airforce BMT 1 week exercise. Wouldn't generalize the entire U.S. Military BT over 1 week, from 1 branch. Also, BEAST has its purposes.
