2006 Katana 600 35-120 run.

Me on my 06 Katana 600, all stock, I just have chrome parts, Looks good to. but I know this ain't known for being a really fast bike but now this vid is up for people that wondering how fast a Katana is. I go from 2nd gear at 35mph, shift into 3rd at 80mph then into 4th at 100 and come off at 120 , I caught up with traffic.

yea, I love my Katana, i have several times thought about selling and getting something like a gsxr, but i ended up keeping, I have now stretched it 6 inches and chromed , rims, swing-arm, foot pegs,handle bar levers,triple tree, grips, tag relocator, sooo I like it now, it rides great, looks great , soo yea, maybe i can get some pictures of it on hear soon.

Yea , hi everyone, sorry for not commenting till now, but anyways, yea, that was when it was all stock and I ran out of room do to traffic, but now I have it stetched 6 inches and chromed out so it looks realy good and rides great but added some wait so it's a lil slower on top end, and I have 12 pounds extra torqe now, but yea, the fastest i've ever had it is 145 inorder to out run some rain and it worked, but I never speed on this thing for real, i just cruze and try to look good,

the katana is a great bike, and anyone who trash talks the katana has clearly never ridden one, so i feel sorry for his deprived soul. and seeing as how the katana is over 100lbs heavier than a CBR1000RR, i have alot of repsect for any chick who rides a katana, cuz she can clearly ride better than any guy with "real" sportbike...

im gettin a 2003 katana it will be my first bike i took it out for a test run they really are amazin bikes it handled great and they are really easy to ride to me its an all around kick ass bike

Wow why is everyone hating on the katana? I mean its a great bike for what it is. and yes I know there are faster bikes out there as most people do. but why hate on it? I mean after all its running a old school gsxr motor..

Oh yeah, my 06 kat 600 will smoke any harley it comes across. Why would I buy a harley which costs 5x as much, makes 1/2 the horsepower with 2x the cubic inches and 2x the gas consumption...oh that's right some guys need a chromed out p.o.s. to get a piece of tail, i forgot....sorry.

My 06 600 katana will go from 0-60 in about 5-6 seconds and will run...well lets say fast enough to lose your license and your life. I'm 40 years old and this is my 3rd motorcycle and I am old enough to know how much is "enough". So go ahead and buy a 1300 hyabusa or some other fast race bike. Ride around doing wheelies and speeding to get some tail off mary jane rotten crotch and I will be still riding when you are in the morgue.

i bought a 06 katana 600 and it beats my uncles 09 harley rocker c which has 1833 cc's every time so if you dont like the katana eat shit and dont look it up dumb fucks

Stop ripping on Katanas, They are great starter bikes. They are plenty fast enough for a beginner, after you get used to it upgrade... Or you could be like my buddy and get a brand new R6 as your first bike, he crashed it within 2 days... Ha

ok katana sport touring bike for beginers, is slow is cheap so is the way to go for a first rider!!!!!!!!
