A snowfall in Canada usually doesn't create much interest but this snowfall was different. Extra large flakes and the consistency of the fallen snow was like styrofoam. Found out later it's called thundersnow. Lightning and thunder was seen and heard in the area

  • We just had a Thunder snow storm here in SC. I have never experienced anything like it before. It's very weird...we hardly ever get snow in SC much less a thunder snow.

  • sometime in january of 2008, in milwaukee, we had a snowday, and the flakes were about the size of softballs, no lie

    it was crazy and in just one hour, we got about 6 inches of snow

  • I live on South Hill and remember that day. Never in my life did i see snow flakes that fluffy and large. My neighbor and i stood outside in amazement ..it was beautiful.
