Agassi approached the net over 100 times?? Are you kidding me? What was he thinking? Nick was a terrible coach for him.

@jproxursoxoff He won more than half of his net points, so the strategy was working. But I don't know of any other match in his career in which he approached so much.

People forget that in his younger days, Agassi ventured to the net quite often, especially compared to players these days. And while not a great volleyer, he was good at closing out points up there (he's the only player who I've NEVER heard of missing an overhead). He did this because he wasn't as fit, and wanted to end points quickly. It's only when he was older that he preferred the strategy of staying back and breaking the other guy down.

Agassi came to the net quite a bit, which I forgot considering he was just a baseliner! Classic mullet also. Wilander had the best suntan in the business and also how long does he take between points?
