If anyone has a claim to say Sebia is Kosovo or vice versa. My family oiginates from there from a town that still bears the name of our family, Tankosic. Much like kosovo is a serbian word too it means blackbird. All the places have serbian names lol.

lol Did you hear tthat on tv? It depends what you're saying. The Serbian state was founded in Kosovo by the Nemanjic dynasty. Its the cradle of serbian culture poetry, nation building, the serbian identity is there. There has never been a country as Kosovo in history, and because americans want to build the larget base in europe; camp bondsteel, doesn't make it legitamate. There is no such thing as Kosovars. Albanians or Serbs live there.
