Definitely not a screw job. In those cases, the victim really complained about it later and for long time afterwords, after they changed the rules, in the middle of the match. In many matches they could count out wrestlers for being out of the ring forever and they don't, in others they do! It's when over time one wrestler never loses, and the other never wins, that it becomes monotonous and turns fans off.
Maybe I haven't seen enough matches between these two wrestlers to form that opinion.
Oz clearly kicked out at 2. Anyway , all the crowd is for Hikari ...This match resembles the late 70s early 80s matches where the heels were really hated and the opponent beloved , without the confusion of the home hero and the home heel...

You're right on both accounts. Oz clearly kicked out at 2 but I guess it's okay as long as the heel gets screwed.

JWP has some crazy stips sometimes, I still remember the match where you need a one count to win, and this one has a two count!

Was this their version of the Montreal Screwjob? Sure looked like a phantom count to me. Oz looked legitimately pissed off.
