Stephen Harper thinks he's above the law. He refused to fire Bev Oda for forging documents and misleading Parliament. He shrugged off charges against his inner circle, who are accused of breaking Canada's election laws and face jail time. He shut down Parliament twice to silence his critics, and decreed that "Government of Canada" should be renamed the "Harper Government."

We need to change priorities in Ottawa to focus on pensions you can count on, health care when you need it, and more job opportunities for young people -- things that really matter to Canadian families.

  • I disagree, these are the type of ads that sway people's opinion the most.

  • These types of ads are very unethical.

  • haraper refuse to buy nuclear weapoons!

  • These attack adds, door-to-door pamphlets, and yard signs are costing millions in combined costs when these parties could be investing that money into Canadian families/job programs/education.

The last election cost taxpayers 300 million dollars.

    That's why I never vote.

  • These attack ads are useless

  • Party politics just enforces the false left/right paradigm. All 3 Canadian parties are corrupt, because the whole system is rotten. We live in a constitutional monarchy, NOT a republic. We live in a system where an unelected has the power to halt our parliament. Isn't that a tyranny? Nor do we have control of our nation's currency. We have given that power to a private bank the Bank of Canada, and pay them interest for the honor. Why not print it ourselves instead of being in debt to IMF?

  • @silverd20 It is i am conducting a bit of a study into what will and will not be allowed. For instances i have a comment suggested that people not vote. One suggesting people for conservative, One suggesting people vote liberal, One suggesting people vote neither liberal nor conservative because they have no tangible idea's. And one suggesting people return their ballets. I'm quite interested in seeing which ones are filtered seeing as how they're all civil and on different accounts.

  • Does this imply your going to do less than harper. Harper hasn't done a thing. He will go down in history as the single most irrelevant prime minister we have ever had and this is what you have come up with. No Progressive ideas. Nothing tangible nothing intangible and no real justifiable criticisms I Encourage not to vote Liberal, Or conservative. Let's all vote green, they have a plan as idealistic and naive as it may be. It's not like we won't have another election in a year.

  • Oh, and the greatest irony:

A motion of no confidence took out the 3 billion dollars that could have gone to the places that you criticized Harper for not spending in. Health Care, Education, and Senior Care.

Nice job opposition. One step forward,

3 Billion steps back steps back

  • @modernfreestyle

What are these mysterious failed socialist policies you speak of? I am actually really curious.
