Messing around with the cam, thought I's do Salt Creek on the mandolin. I'm playing my handmade Johnson mandolin. Made by Corbett Johnson of Raven, West Virginia.

  • Hey what would a Corbette Johnson cost someone? You never did reply back. which was a year ago.

  • What kind of price tag on a Corbett Johnson Mandolin. Thats a really good sounding Mandolin.

  • awesome mandolin, as a beautiful tone

  • man that sounds good

  • Very nice! You do a fine clean version of Salt Creek tune -- its one of my favorites. Great ending! Those little ditties at the start were real "grassy".

Your fretting precise so I think that is why the mandolin really rings out -- but I will say that Corbett Johnson must be a heck of a luthier also. Because there is NOTHING wrong with the sound you are getting out of that mandolin.
