Actually, if you watch Minipato (Which actually has some very useful universe information), it tells you about cannons, rifles, why there are no lasers, jet packs, and labors over 30 feet and many other things. The guns in the universe are actually sparsely used anyways, this is the one show where I've seen a robot judo-flip another robot. Labor, excuse me. On another note, I used to call it like "patlaburr".

@MightyQuinn2021 Because bullets that size would tear apart a neighborhood. Not to mention there's no was the police force could afford it.
Watch the TV show of this, they talk about this kind of stuff, it's really a cool show if you can enjoy things besides Giant Robots with Swords and Laser Beams. =)

@MightyQuinn2021 Because it's not a robot, it's a Labor. There are no such things as Laser Beams, and a sword is just as ordinary as a revolver, and less useful. Why not a revolver shaped canon? That's stylish.

Well it's not as if I'm in charge or so, but I guess that would work.
Plus, revolvers have more class than an automatic / semi-automatic weapon anyway. ;p

Because they're trying to keep the story as believable as possible? Which rules out swords or "lazer" since there's a good chance innocent people behind the target would get hit.

Why would a robot need a big gun to be a revolver. A sword or lazer beam would be more fitting.
