Evan Chandler was an aspiring screenwriter. He had already published one of his screenplays and approached MJ to finance his next project. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT?? I thought this was the land of opportunity where a citizen is free to capitalize on his dream and stop drilling teeth or whatever menial job he has!

@AslanGriffindorLion Do you have any idea how many parents have dealt with this & do NOT go after the pedophile because they do not want to subject their child to a criminal trial facing their accuser? It happens a lot unfortunately. Google around & read the stats on that. Psychologists suggest that it gives the victim back their "power" and it can be cathartic, but a lot of parents just don't want to put their child through that trauma and Imagine it is even worse when the person is famous
