but for starters i own a dell insp and it has a built in ant for wifi but my sig is weak i do have a belkin usb radio
and usb cord should i build a cantenna?
or go for a router?

bluetooth tethering. depends on whether the pc and phone have bluetooth. not all phones can tether.
useful for accessing internet outside wifi hotspots.
