A perfect case for capital punishment. Strap their asses to the electric chair and flip the switch. I grow so tired of these murderers blaming their childhood for their actions. @countryhoney28 Some individuals undoubtedly deserve to die for their heinous crimes. But with such an undeniable prevalence of jury misconduct, evidence tampering, police corruption, prosecutors and judges with axes to grind, etc., we cannot depend on the state to justly deal death. There is a reason organizations like the Innocence Project exist - our system of trial by jury is the best in the world, yet still imperfect. Errors occur, and even one innocent death is too many.

@SunnyHappy2008 I agree that people can be rehabilitated and that even a certain type of killer might deserve another chance. I don't think Homolka qualifies. She participated in sadistic torture & murder (including of her own sister) just to please her idiot husband. The true scope of her involvement was not appreciated by the authorities when they struck their deal with her. Twelve years in jail is a joke for what she did. She's free now, but her crimes should follow her the rest of her life.
