I think those Egyptian ruins, the temple and the statue are far more important for the Islands history then the Black Rock and as I said: a Richard/Black Rock Video is coming soon ^^

What happened to the crew of the Black Rock? In 1867 the Black Rock was sailing to the Kingdom from Siam. After a big storm came up, it throwed the ship trough the big statue from Taweret. Also known as the the four-toed statue. Ricardo (Richard Alpert) was also on that ship, he was sold as a slave.7

Everyone was killed by the Smoke Monster or by something else, except Ricardo.

Ricardo was saved by Jacobs Nemenis. That tried to let Ricardo kill Jacob, to escape te island...

It's a shelter from guys that lived earlier on the island.
