Large Capacitor vs. 24 VAC, 100 Amps

This is what happens when a large electrolytic capacitor meets 24 VAC, 100 Amps from my ballasted high current power source. It started at 105 Amps, then worked its way down to 6 Amps. After a slight "adjustment", it pulled 70 Amps for a bit. Kids, do not try this at home...

say did you guy's know the smoke coming out is toxic and breathing it in will make you sick. so is that a polarized or non polarized cap. did you know electrolytic caps stabilize currant in electronic circuits.
