Seriously, what a great character. Just watched him and Kim Jae Bum fight it out in the gold medal match. The respect they have for each other (Kim lost to Bischof in Beijing in the gold medal match, Bischof lost to Kim this time around) is obvious and Bischof showed true sportsmanship despite losing. Epitome of the Olympic spirit.

After the way he fought Travis Stevens, I'm not sure if he is much more than scum. Watch the way he fought dirty in that match and then tell me about his sportsmanship!

My favourite moment of the olympics. It brought tears to my eyes and it was so good to see such great sportsmanship. Ole said in this interview /watch?v=5Qa7crPQSPw that they can't communicate through words that well but looks, gestures and empathy are enough to understand each other and to know how Kim feels. He likes him and admires his determination, skill and fairness. That's how all athlets should be like. :)
