An excerpt from John Adams' 1995 opera "The Death of Klinghoffer," based on the hijacking of the Achille Lauro in 1985. The libretto is by Alice Goodman, and this 2003 film version was written and directed by Penny Woolcock.
This music is so powerful, but not in this performance -- sounds like teenagers.... you need to hear the Netherlands Radio Choir sing this with Edo de Waart.....
The quality is incredibly shitty.

elements of the film are great, but the drama of it rides on the music. This piece never ceases to move me.
