In first world countries you guys have the same rights and civil liberties as the average ass hole on the street - man or woman. We are pretty much equal now. There are bigger barriers we need to remove: such as putting food in everybodies mouth.

All types of feminism fall on 1 principle: women's equality. Regardless of the variations, I still have yet to see any type of feminism eradicate the misandry that's implemented in the media and in our society. Until then, I will continue to believe that feminism and feminists are promoting anti-male and pro-female legislation.

@ApollosInsight lmfao so giving women the right to vote, own property and land, and be free people instead of sexual property is anti-male? you obviously know nothing about the history of feminism and therefore you are not worth conversing with about this topic.

@ronfan69 I've never NOT heard a feminist mention a man's struggle as well. But I have yet to find a man who gives a fuck about my right for equal pay, or to stand up for me when someone is pushing their misogyny onto me. What makes men so angry about the fact that I want to be treated equally? Elevating women is not simultaneously lowering a man's status. I have no desire to take rights away from the many men in my life, whom I love and respect.

@Menocidekunt It's not because you have vaginas. It's not as if you're just different so men discriminated against you out of some hateful bigotry. It was because women gave birth to the future. Look how hard it is to have a functioning society with working women today with all our modern technology. There's no way that could of been possible centuries past.

The reason why the negative stereotypes of feminism persist is because feminism tacitly accepts and takes advantage of the male gender role of disposability. Feminism can never be about equality until is recognizes disposability as a problem and becomes an advocate to teach women not to see men in that role.
