The original is the best,it's a classic that can't be reproduced.But Mariah was'nt trying to redo it she was honoring the song.She is a very talented singer in her own right.I like the original and i like this one for her honoring such a great song.

@marjorie112 those twiddly bits are called vocal coloring. Journey can never - in their wildest dreams - imagine doing them with such musicality and perfection.

Her voice is so lovely, it soothes my pain away. I love listening to her<3 This is one of my fave songs from her, her voice is just so beautiful.
