Usually, depending on performance, the background colour changes from blue (neutral) to green (good) or red (bad), and the dialogue also changes accordingly. As a special competition, Arika challenged players to discover a special "hidden scenario" in Normal mode, with an orange background which is not usually seen.

To active the orange background itself isn't that hard at all; but the challenge was more to actually discover the unknown conditions for activing it in the first place.
