The album Music for an Arabian Night is really really special to me. I heard it when I was about 7 or 8. It was used as background score for a Musical Fountains show in the Brindavan Gardens of Mysore. An uncle of mine picked up a copy of the tape from the director of the show.

Someone, please upload 1962's "PRETEND" by Lawrence Welk.
The lushful Strings, deep and haunting Flute solo, excellent and rich harmonies, heavenly bells...Ron is truly a genius master arranger. May God bless you Ron..in the ever life.

yes, all these middle eastern music played by the ron goodwin orchestra are some of the finest i've heard. the arrangements are extremely lovely. those often played are taken from his albums titled 'Music For An Arabian Night' and 'Salute To Lebanon'.
