The first mic probably has some reverb or some effects to make the vocals sound bigger. You can't pick it up with this camera so its more for live presence.

hmm wonder why he switches mics he does when he plays circle of cysquatch for the voice effects but theres none in this song

@BirmJr I'm no expert but it's probably so one mic can be mixed totally differently & have different effects setup without having the soundguy making adjustments on the fly. So you can have a Troy "solo" mic and then a mic for when he's harmonizing and singing with Brent/Brann.
