Dude, you got a mess of keys on that ring. Very nice bike though. I can see why you like it. I have a 2002 r1150rt and I feel so promiscuous whenever I look at the "r", like I'm looking at a younger woman other than my wife.

I am a hardcore BMW bike fan, but this is one that I have never really been sure about. I don't think I like the way the instrument cluster just hangs out in front like that. Doesn't it collect a lot of bug carcasses?
I like to stop by the car wash and spray the dead bugs off of the headlamp and nose of my bike. I'm not sure I would want to take the pressure washer to the backside of the instrument panel. Is it as much of a problem as I am making it out to be in my head?

No, you are right about the dead mosquitos, especially when riding in Everglades (south FLA). I will probably get the sport windshield. But most naked bikes have this issue. Another issue is the cheap seat. I put on a nice one from Sargent...aftermarket, great quality. (sorry for the ad but it's a great seat).
