is 3s really worth it ? I currently run 2s 5200Mah 24C lipo and found my firestorm flux very fast, will 3s really make a big difference ?

Yes, it will - goes too fast and heats a lot.

Is it worth it? Not really - only if you like way overpowered car. :)
