Tananarive Due talks to AALBC.com at Book Expo America 2008
Due is the American Book Award-winning author of nine books, ranging from supernatural thrillers to a mystery to a civil rights memoir.
Her newest novel, Blood Colony (June 2008), is the long-awaited sequel to her 2001 thriller The Living Blood and 1997's My Soul to Keep, a reader favorite that Stephen King said "bears favorable comparison to Interview with the Vampire." Blood Colony continues the saga of African immortals with healing blood.
@bleachgirlish LMAO I know.... ME TOO! LOL But I love her books because they are sooo unpredictable, you never know whats going to happen next and thats what keeps me reading. The next book I'm going to read is The blood Colony I heard that one was good too.

@Laffington I think I know EXACTLY what Sci-Fi anthology you speak of. I share the same experience as you do...her story was the ONLY one that STILL stands out in my mind, and I have not been the same since. She is phenomenal indeed!

Due is phenomenal. Such an underrated talent! I discovered her by reading this sci-fi anthology -- and hers was the only story that moved me! Been a big fan ever since....
