My thoughts on abstract expressionist artists and their inability to understand that their art is not a 'higher' art form. I may paint a lot of cats but my work has never been mistaken for that of a child. This video features a good time lapse photography of a 'cat' in progress.
BTW: Don't get me wrong. I like good abstract expressionist artworks I'm just saying, as artists, we're all on the same playing field.
Love the color....but man, don't diss the four year old because their parents are being rude.

The video isn't actually a put down to four year olds. If anything it's actually a swipe at abstract expressionists.

Still, you might want to be more careful with your wording. Though this was posted 3 years ago :D The color really is lovely.

Thanks on the color. This painting was actually the start of a career path that lead me to paint more than 50 cat paintings since - and I'm not even that much of a cat lover (no more than your average person that gets a cat for company).

Congradulations on your career, though I thought to myself that this painting was lovely enough to buy when I was watching the video...so I am not too surprised about your current position (even without your love of cats).

Thanks again - prints of many of my cat paintings are available to buy through my web site (well you have to mention these things LOL). The collector who bought this painting is sitting on a great investment should I ever gain any credibility as an investment artist :-)
