@proff128 Gas fuels like CNG Propane etc arent liquid in the chamber ...that argument doesnt apply here ~ 4 stroke engines now dont recieve any lubrication from the fuel , unlike the case with lead and valve guides . Adavancements in lubricants and engine bearing technology have allowed much more advanced engine construction and material strengths and tolerances unheard of thirty years ago

the engine is designed to run on a liquid fuel. The liquid fuel provides cooling and lubrication , without that the engine will run but for how long , without modification
