FDA can't even recall Human Food

Lisa Shames of the Government Accountability Office explains that the FDA doesn't have mandatory recall power over any food except baby formula. Recalls for human food and pet food are voluntary and the companies don't even have a time frame for when they have to report problems with the food (unlike the Consumer Safety Products Commission where they give companies 24 hours to recall unsafe products)

She said it, "Globalized" and thanks to ideas like NAFTA, countries are being forced to REDUCE standard safety levels to match those of less standard leveled countries. So of course this will increase more deaths and illnesses, especially where one is not accustomed...there is a reason why you can't bring plants from Germany to Canada (live plants & some seeds) Contamination is a RISK to the Well being and Health of Humans...Violations happening everywhere all in the name of Big Money ...Peace!

FDA is bought by the corporations. I do not trust them. One must learn which foods are poison to the body and read labels but don't truss the FDA for they are bought by the corporations and allow in favor of the corporations.
