Here's one I did about 8 years ago...the audio was pretty bad, but I worked on it to clean it up. If anybody listens to this that is good at picking out chords, I'd be happy to know what they are as I don't think I ever wrote them down. Thanks for listening.

Look at all the people
Sitting in the dark
Theyre all together, but still all alone
Waiting for an answer
Searching for the dawn
Waiting for a call on the phone
Can you see them wonder
Do you hear them cry
Do you know the life that they had
Sent away forever
Never coming back
Will our final years be this sad? (Chorus):
They have lived a life
they have a story to tell
they loved, they laughed and fought and they made it through hell
dont dismiss these human hearts
cause their wrinkled and grey
the answers they have learned
we may need them someday
Do you see the people
Few that come and visit
But only for a very short while
If they could hear them
If they could know
All it takes is a knowing smile
Time it passes slowly
Clock upon the wall
Keeps fading with the failing of sight
Dreams gone forever
Memories fading fast
Waiting for the dark of the night (Repeat Chorus)
Day has reached its end
No visitors again
Tomorrow, theyll be here they might
All they ever were
All theyll ever be
Someone else is claimed in the night.
there is always something deep in all your songs, I like the way you composed them the lyrics are always special, thanks for posting this one :)
