@MrNooneseesme That's exactlly we do for so long, we don't understand English, but this is not excuse enough to not aprecciate the song. We appreciate de music, the rhythm and the voice, and if you are decided enough, a way to start learning the language, memorizing the words, that's the way I started myself learning English.

I dont understand the language, but I love Bossa and I love Brazilian singing. The way its sung says it all, this has beauty and charm - it actually make a better change to NOT understand the words because them you just appreciate the music, the rhythm and the tone of the voice. Greetings from London, we love you all.........Brazil and Brazilians

Any one know who is the Jazz guitarist who soloed on this?

@babinm If you wan't to understand it, you just have to study it. That's how we get to speak english and enjoy the wonders of english-speaking music. I can assure you that there are also awesome lyrics in portuguese

"Sky so blue is the sky, with far away clouds just wandering by. Where do they go? Oh, I don't know, don't know. Wind that speaks to the leaves, telling stories that no one believes, stories of love belong to you and me"
That's the english version of the intro I've always performed

Essa voz de algodao doce...amo!
There is nothing like hearing a Brazilian sing brazilian music. There is no substitute. I wish I understand the language. Oh well. Nice use of passing chords on the chorus. Tania Maria would be proud.
