i believe that Ride the Lightning is probly the best of all the metallica albums and its unfortunate that metallica has lost their old school sound, cuz it really kicks ass.

each metallica album has a different tone in a way. kill em all had alot of treble, ride the ligjtning had more reverb, maser of puppets had more distortion, justice had more bass, black album was all mixed lol. still this is old skool thrash
