Boat Rescue

This was taken at the Home Countries regatta in Cork, Ireland, on 28/7/2007.

This Scottish girl (I forget her name) had just finished her race and taken her boat in to the floating slip. However, she took her hand off it for a second, and it started drifting away. I moved to help, but other people got there before me. With nothing left to do, I filmed the last minute or so of the very undramatic rescue of the now-capsized boat.

Fortunately, she didn't have any shoes or valuables in the boat, and we all had a good laugh about it.
