I so happy to hear Terry for the first time when i bought the movie "Wonderland" starring Val Kilmer. Well Then i wanted the sound track to the movie cuz I heard a song on it that I never heard before and it made me feel so happy and energetic ! I could not find the sound track of the movie available online so I searched ... I finally founded it ,the only copy on Amazon. Now I am buying all his Cds and watching all his videos ! I don't know why he was such a secret ?

Elle Fitzgerald called him the greatest white blues singer she ever heard. Most people were never were aware of him in the 60s... this was the musician other musicians listened to. He was Jimmy Page's first choice to front The New Yardbirds ( soon to be renamed Led Zeppelin ).

I read that Jimmy Page wanted Reid for the vocal spot in the mighty Zeppelin but that he was committed elsewhere. Pagey always wanted Steve Marriot from the Faces. You can hear the similarity in vocal style. Plant certainly didn't do a bad job though, did he? (tee hee).
