This is my first attempt at getting some in car video. The car is a 6spd 434 powered 1985 Corvette with CCW classics.

  • I'm , kind of surprised the car has not pooped the rear out of it. Love the 434 in a C4 though, very nice

  • Street tires are the only thing saving it.

  • man that is a bad ass ride! are you gonna put a cowl on it? why did you go with that FI setup and why not the mini ram?

  • Thanks! Definitely a cowl hood. No miniram made for 18 degree heads. I have one in the garage but modifying it for the heads would have been tricky.

  • sounds really nice what intake are you using are u using the cross-fire or carbs

  • cross fire was 84. I'm using a modified single plane w/4 barrel TB and DFI.

  • @redhot916spd he should take a little air from rear tires so his rear doesnt that alot of torque and that car should be lose in the turns

  • If you take your foot out of it like that, under hard acceleration when you are in gear, it causes end-play in your thrust surfaces, which eats your horsepower and lowers your top end. Use the brake to slow down, you'll be glad you did. :)

  • wow im impressed

  • Nasty!

  • @brodix434 I found a c4 that has a modern ls motor with an 81mm turbo on it, he said he put a solid in his, was running loooooow 9's in it. I ran factory gear and tried a 4:10 in mine and never had any trouble in it, mine only mph'ed at 117 though. As far as I know the car is still doing fine on NIitto's and now has 100shot on it, still with no issues

  • let that engine roar like a beast

  • DAMN! sounds monstrous =]

    When you get a car to sound and perform like that, you should be very happy with yourself.

  • while it is true, nothing replaces cubic inches, there is something to be said for small block twin turbos;

    Luigi liked L98s so much he built stump-pulling locomotives out of some of them!

    a few hours on EBay or a short phone call to STS and you can still build one, faster than you can say "Little Old Lady From Pasedena"!
