This is what I love about flash - so unpredictable. He built his fame cheesing Bisu and so many others. He then became famous because his multitasking/macro was impeccable. He then went into a period of mass 14ccs (most of which failed). But these days, against Flash, you have to play safe/standard. Any other thing you do is simply too risky.

You are wrong.
This was not a 8 rax, it was a bbs. An 8 rax can be followed by a mech build, and is supposed, as you say, to delay your opponent and do some damage early game. But a bbs is an all-in cheese. Either you kill your opponent, either you die. You have to cut scvs and any kind of economic developement.
This game was not exciting because Flash completely outplayed EffOrt, not because bbs is boring in itself.
Nothing "lame" there.

Maybe if people keep cheesing, the players will stop playing so econ-heavy...
12 hatch, 12 rax, 12 nex OR no-zealot tech to goon are all vulnerable to aggressive play. (And FE without a worker scout is standard play for Zerg.)
