Wasn't sure about being stationed in England, but after watching these and getting some exposure to some of what the culture is like and the accent I think it will be awesome experiencing England! These videos are good, you should put more up! Can't wait to experience the pubs.

@trekranger Oh, crap. I didn't look at the dates, but it was on the first page, so I assumed it was recent xD . Oh, well, now you know :P .
-
@IceMetalPunk thanks for the reply, a bit late but thanks.

@trekranger A quid is a pound. A good analogy to American money: dollars = pounds, bucks = quid.
-
You call them pennies, too? Then what the heck are these "pence" we've been so often taught you Brits have? XD Oh, and those crumpets look like what we call English muffins...did we get that wrong? What are your muffins like? :P

Wow that cleared up quite a bit actually. All this old school talk of shillings and such from old movies made it sound much more confusing. Also when i said slang terms i actually meant that as a separate question. Just things you call by different names over there in regular conversation.

@Flyboy788 Ah, ok! Ooh, I'll do another video on that then - we've got plenty of slang :)
