@serzh123aaa there are four types of collectors: readers, collectors, investors, speculators. readers collect just for reading and don't care about value. collectors enjoy the stories and keep better care of their comics for any future value. investors buy comics strictly for their value. speculators buy multiple issues of comic books thinking buying them now will allow them to have multiple copies for sale when the comic becomes valuable. speculators almost fucking ruined the industry.

Because they are worth quite a bit of money. If you find the right one of course. For instance, I had a Ultimate Spider-man #1 signed and authenticated by the artist in 2002, I took it to my local comic shop and sold it for almost $300.00, 200.00 cash and an extra 70 in merchandise.

Those GI Joe comics are a reprint from what year ? I remember collecting the ORIGINAL series in the late 80's which i believe was published by Marvel. Love the fact they seem to be using the original characters and not the corny ones from the recent movie.

No collection of Becketts. The most I had at one time were from 2004 - 2007 but I tossed those out. Now I just throw out the old issue when the new one comes in the mail.
