Just me playing a little of the new Capcom game Dark Void Zero. This is the PC/Steam version and it is another new game created with the retro / classic gaming look and feel of the 8 - bit days! It is to promote the upcoming high end Dark Void coming to PC/360/PS3 and was marketed as a gimmick claiming to be an original unreleased classic 8 bit game! I had some fun with this. Rise On! After 20 years, the legendary lost project "Dark Void" is back! To commemorate the game's humble origins, Capcom has commissioned the recreation of the original 8-bit classic, now re-titled "Dark Void Zero". In this critically acclaimed 8-bit de-make, you play as Rusty, warrior test-pilot and Nikola Tesla's trusted friend.
Dark Void is a video game developed by Airtight Games and published by Capcom on the Unreal Engine 3 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. In the game players must face an alien threat that humanity had previously banished. The game mixes on-foot and mid-air combat. It was released in North America on January 19, 2010, and released in Europe on January 22, 2010.

Lol. This game is supposed to trick people into thinking it's a "lost" nes title but the game play makes it so obvious that this was made more recently. The game actually explains stuff for you. No nes game I know of ever had explanations. You just move until you get to the next area and figure shit out as you go along. A real nes game wouldn't tell you now you have to look for 5 journals or bother to explain how to double jump or open certain doors or point out that you have 2x rate of fire.

@anottakenusername Er, it was not trying to trick anyone. it is merely a tribute to retro titles. You make much more out of it then it is. Retro gaming is big these days, so companies are getting in on the retro style but they are not attempting to "fool" anyone.
