  • The trailer doesn't do the movie justice at all. It makes it seem like a upbeat road comedy when its so much more brutal. But I guess the rape scene in the trailers wouldn't have sat right with audiences.

  • @leafjlr333 see now thats the beauty of youtube. you guys can have these little heart to hearts and no one has to know your names.

  • amazing film

  • @MrS98VAC Love you you specify '1990's' opposed to just 90's. Coz otherwise people would get confused, you know, it could have the been the 1890's or the 1790's :P

  • This sort of looks like a female buddy film to me.

  • @dman519 OK,it's only a movie,don't take it so seriously !!

  • @MrS98VAC pulp fiction, shawshank redemption, forest gump, braveheart, sixth sense, jurassic park, seven, toy story, dances with wolves, saving private ryan, the matrix, the list goes on and on. There were a lot of great movies in the 90's. Thelma and Louise was OK but certainly not top 5. I think even top 30 would be a stretch.

  • I love this feministic film...

  • One of the top 5 movies of the 1990s.

  • @tehc4ncer It seems that we agree. I don't have a problem with the movie having a political agenda. I don;t have an issue with depicting men or women one way or another. With regards to this film, and in the context of THIS trailer, I am arguing that the packaging is advertising something very different from the contents. That's all.

  • It seems the early to mid 90's was filled with violent road trip movies.

  • @kirschi5000 really? and do the movies that depict most women as scum have a certain political agenda as well? i didn't see anybody mention a political agenda on those types of movies, but on this one it's all political agenda. it's a trend i've noticed on films with women protagonists, isn't that some sort of agenda.

you can find political agenda in any movie if you try hard enough.

But i somewhat agree about the trailer. for me the movie was just a story about white trash.
