hello my name is john. i was born with cleft lip and palate i had the surgery but it still left me with a scar on my lip and yeah i totally understand where this guy comes from the stares are painful. what makes it worse is that people are hyprocrites because online they try to act all nice but in the real world they will just stare at you like anyone else so much for online saviors

What people see & don`t realize is in some ethnic backgrounds is they are the same height weight looks but EVERYBODY has to realize the STARES HURT even if the person is trying to be non obvious People with scars are forever watching who is looking at them I have facial injuries from 40 yrs ago but I`ve got used to them -Each of us look at the person with an Impairment / Impediment as WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE IF THAT WAS - ME - Even if your not trying to be rude the best is Say HI & Walk by .

This is why I do not believe in God. Even though it is very hard to believe in God when you live in the West and have all the everyday amenities you could ask for, even living in the seemingly "low" position of a disfigured burn victim would make you question the very notion that a caring omnipotent creator exists.
