Lazarus, you're supposed to be some kind of expert and you can't answer this question? Because I am not an expert and I can think of several reasons Anthem don't wanna deal with your credit card company. Why don't you tell me what's really going on?

use your debit card as a credit card, it benefits your credit score without you getting screwed up the backside with interest rates or whatever.
