Front seat of Rescue 2 (Now Engine 25-2, since we switched numbers and got a new rescue, relegating this to secondary-engine status) responding for mutual aid to a call in Birdsboro, Berks County, PA, during the summer of 2008. This is what happened before the video that I've had up for a while entitled "Ladder 1 Arriving at Mutual Aid Call in Birdsboro", which you can actually see behind us when we turn about halfway into the video.

**DISCLAIMER**
Since I know everyone's going to talk shit, I was not in control of the Q or horns. Yes, I agree with you, they weren't used correctly. If I had been in control of them, they would have been used correctly. I was in control of the Code 3 electronic siren, that's all. As you can tell from his comment near the end of the video, the FF in the back thought I was in control, hence the, "Let's have some more Q!" Any comments talking shit saying I didn't use the right will be deleted.

The reason the electronic was being used was because that was the only one I had control over, and I was determined to make at least one of the warning systems on there be effective, lol.

I don't know, to tell you the truth. I wasn't on that call....

  • @KosukiFire

Yes, it is. Air horns and Q's work best when it's not a constant tone. In other words, honk the horn in quick bursts, let the Q wind up and down. And who cares if you were on a rig? I obviously have been too....

  • @Rofocowboy84

Na bro I was on a rig, Thats not over used.

  • @Rofocowboy84 was it the same one that burnt down i birdboro

  • @ellisfd4821son

So yeah, it had the potential to be a MCI, but I don't remember if it was dispatched as such or not...

  • @ellisfd4821son

From what I remember, it was for some sort of fumes at the factory there. I know at least one person was transported. We didn't do anything except stand by at the hydrant, and I took pictures, lol.....

  • @KosukiFire

K, just making sure. Your comment seemed like it may have been critical of the Q usage.
