learning the Unity Game Engine
People & Blogs
Standard YouTube License
i checked SketchUP reluctantly but fell in love with it
after 4-5 hours. it's very intuitive, very simple to grasp,
and yes, it does import google earth.
mind you- google earth's terrains are not too detailed.
but it imports the terrain "printed" with the images
so it looks great.
since its free you can download it and start working at once.
also, unlike many softwares, the user-base is huge, and it's all free of charge. lots of youtube clips to help you
and lots of forums.
everyone likes it :-)

of coure its completely configurable
i am talking about the navigation of runtime
while in editor, you use the arrows
i love your tutorials , i learned so much from you the last few days.
i'm using sketchup+lightup to make FBX files
for Unity,
so i can compile a lighting scene to an .exe or html
to show projects to clients.
Unity is great but i hate the AWDS + mouse navigation.
i prefer the way Sketchup navigates.
is that possible in Unity? how much can one change the player's controls?
