@aplex323 reason i say double din is cause of the DIRECT USB, its the only way to maintain a HIGH QUALTY sounds but im very picky. so it might be a matter of opinion.

@aplex323 this unit doesn't sound good no matter what. If you like your factory radio there isn't much you can do. only thing is get a double din touch screen but beware of cheap looking dash kits, there is a nice version "jdm conversion kit" looks FACTORY! but its $350! trust me i went through this with my local audio/visual dealer. even called Infiniti, no factory option.

@jcarter1789 what happens if you use the aux imput? aux will still sound better than using the sat source right?

beware if you enjoy your high quality bose factory CD player... you will not get that same high quality audio from any of these ipod adapters! CD's will sound much better.

He originally put it up for sale and the part numbers are on the 2nd or 3rd page i believe.

So would you recommend this Nissan factory model over the UASPEC PA11-NIS? Any advantages/disadvantages? From the Crutchfield site, it sounds like the UASPEC will not show the artist/track info etc. on the dash, but it does allow any RCA input (in case you ever leave the ipod). It does let you control with the ipod wheel though, does yours let you do that too or only using the dash/wheel controls?
By the way, thanks for making this video! very nice to see what it looks like ahead of time.

You can only use the factory radio/steering wheel controls. I'd rather have that than the ipod control personally. It is really not suited for random find a song and play it however. It really does depend on having a good playlist set up.
