A Kitchen Water Faucet's water can be Lit On Fire! This is Hardly a One in a million because Many Homes have the SAME Problem near Natural Gas Wells in the United States. Watch for movie GAS LAND on HBO and Sundance or just spend the money and Buy the Movie or Rent it as you may see things a Bit Clearer afterwards. This is a Huge Problem and the Water Supply to many can be in serious danger of being contaminated by Corperate America's GREED. The Movie has nice Grid Maps of the states and areas being drilled, with interviews by people affected and some Big Oil and Gas Reps telling them to shut down their cameras! Natural Gas coming out of your well water and the Hundreds of Contaminants that are injected into Well to "Crack Through" the Shale rock, well they don't care if the home owner is a Republican, or a Democrat. It Happens to anybody. Now ask Yourself, Just WHY did George BUSH Jr Buy 100,000 acres in South America over one of the biggest Aquafirs in the world? When our well water is Posioned, will good old Georgie sell us clean Bottled water for $25 a Gallon?

Just revealed: There are cases of well water permeated with natural gas, but what the video producer failed to tell the public, is these occurrences where happening well before any fracking was done

Ever been around when they drill a water well? the guys tell you not to smoke near bubbling up soap water because they could hit gas pocket. Not saying well water never gets gas naturally, but Fracking sure hells the problem happen more often and you can't exactly go down and fix it. I know a dude that cleans up well sites and there is alot of shit covered up. Yes, sites are cleaned up, they just move crap to another area not on gas well maps and bury the shit. But Repubs don't mind. JESUS Came

Many of the wells were drilled by people who were not under regulations. Water near a seam of coal will give red rust stains and also give it a bad smell rotten eggs smell because of the sulphur in the water from the coal seam.

hey, all this well talk makes me wanna play with mine and see if it does...we just moved from Tx a couple of years ago (which is covered in iron ore and sand) and I had never heard of having iron stains due to the well water (guess we drill our wells deeper down there) and I buy this place we are in now a few months ago and can't keep the rust stains out to save my life...do people in Pa not know how to drill water wells deep enough or something?

You misread my comment..."a lot" by most water wells that are dug have it occurring, not all have methane in their water...yes, it would be stupid to not install the vent, but all these people had to do in order to ignite their fire was to cap the vent off...simple as that...then you become famous and have mr. big company pay your bills for you...

Their neighbors got leases or work for the production companies and are doing better than them, or are just plain stupid socialists who don't like seeing capitalism work, and Americans getting cheaper gas. And if we we're allowed to drill and go for own oil we wouldn't need to buy it, we could tell OPEC to go suck it, but OPEC pays for alot of these environmental groups to protest drilling so they can make money!
