Sam: A few years ago, an S N E S ROM of a Speedy Gonzalez game, hacked to replace Speedy with Sonic, was dumped on the internet.

Sam: This game was found on physical cartridges in various countries around the world, and many were curious about it's origin.

I once contacted Mr Bit, or was it MrByte, who was the leader of the group. I didn't want to waste time typing up a huge message with all the questions I had though only to find out he wouldn't respond, so my first message was very brief just asking if it's really him and if he'd answer some questions. He replied saying go ahead essentially, but after that, he never responded back :x

I feel like I've seen a sprite similar to that Sonic one, for Sonic 2. Wonder what it's a hack of...
