Gum bichromate is a 19th century photographic printing process based on the light sensitivity of dichromates. My courses are in Austerlitz and Amersfooort in the Netherlands. For more info visit my site: http://www.rogiervanderkruk.nl

  • I live in England, so sun is not an option ;-) Sunbed lamps, which means are they used for SAD(Seasonal Affective Dissorder) , also called phototheraphy treatment unit? Can I use that lighting source instead?

Thank you very much for all the helpful videos

, very useful for a student like me.

  • @coolnsblue1 Yeah, right now it is -1 here in holland. But anyway.. yes I think it is the same as what my dad used. But i will ask him in a minute.

  • Hi there, could u pls tell me what light exposure units you are using? Are they phototheraphy units ? Thank u

  • @coolnsblue1 No, just normal philips sunbed lamps. You just need a very bright light source.. sun is also good option.

  • Thank u very much, I'm looking forward to hear from you.

  • Thanks. That was a wonderful overview. I remember seeing the work of a French photographer once- I think he used a process similar to this. He took pictures of various animals. Wish I could remember his name to see if this is the technique he used.
