  • The solos stand out so much more in the original than they do in the remaster. Remasters suck. The really rare Metallica remasters of RTL and MOP were amazing though, but they cost A LOT and they're hard to find

  • LOVE IT !!!!!!....That up-in-down ,scale ,repetitious Soloing !!! (great warm up material)

  • one of my fave Deth songs!

  • Anyone heard the "Starcraft remix" of this? Nowhere to be found anymore but it was really cool

  • @slantyrock Yeah i was talking of the intro's horn. I read that he always wanted to put them in the intro, but for some reason he didn't manage to. That's why he added them on the remaster... But i don't find it very nice.

  • @PitchKucks Yeah, this one. This is the original and you can hear some trumpets/horns. but listen to the remastered version here /watch?v=vXaFGEko0_M

And at 23 seconds and 30 seconds you can hear the horrible horns/trumpets he added that aren't on this version.

  • @slantyrock Is there a version with horns that isnt remastered ?

  • Thank you, I lost my tapes. I can't stand the horns or the revamped version at all.

  • @Metalheadgamingnerd Well, while I lost all my Voivod albums, I do still have all of my Megadeth cassettes. I guess some good came out of my move to a new home. Got all my old grindcore stuff too (even the original Death tapes, may Schuldiner rest in piece).

  • The first instrumental I've ever heard from Megadeth. Well, I'm amazed!

  • @emjcohen Like to see them try and boss Rob around like that!

  • @atheg74 Yah, he follows the rhythm guitar almost the whole time because he was the new guy and James and Lars always told him what to do. The bass was already obsolete to begin with, but Lars wanted a very "upfront" sound with virtually no reverb, and that resulted in the drums and guitar sounding thinner and drier. That treatment hurt the guitars and drums, but it killed whatever bass was left.
