God, I remember when Cookie Monster got kicked out of the band. He'd been with them in Hamburg, did the Decca audition...and the EMI said 'drop the puppet, he just wants to rant about cookies all the time'. Well before the Fabs were into dope and acid, CM was out of his mind on afghans and choc chip. Revolution 9 is about their lost band member, you know....nine revolutions of the oven dial to set it to fan bake for making ginger biscuits.

He didn't get kicked out, man. He was in a car accident. It was years before people realised he was replaced by an imposter Cookie Monster. I, for one, was not fooled. The original Cookie was fab!

I was actually expecting an artsy fan-vid of Carnival of Light - even with Cookie Monster and the Sesame Street Beetles in it. Much tom y surprise, I got CM singing "Hey Food" instead in its entirity. And ya know what? I think it was better. Thumbs up.

If you look this closely, CM has a burn scar on his lip SUPPOSEDLY from a hot batch of Toll House Cookies (which didn't come out till AFTER 1939). This proves beyond a doubt he's an imposter!

carnival of light is a 13 minute song with no discernible beat according to Paul McCartney. There is screaming and other weird things in it. This isnt it obviously.
