It's been a while and a very hot (100 degree temps every day) summer. Here is what's left. I am looking forward to cooler weather (still in the 100s here) and fall/winter crops.

  • One trick i've learned when it gets hotter is to use some shade cloth, fold it in half to make a double layer, then shade ONLY the fruits so they don't get sunscald. The leaves need as much sun as possible so dont shade the leaves, only the fruit.

  • @ASFx2600 Thanks for the tip. I'll have to give that a try. ~Jeri
